Jiang Yikang, male, Han nationality, is a native of Shandong province. He was born in 1953, and joined the CPC in 1970. He held leading Party posts, including director of the work committee of the CPC Central Committee until 1997, and deputy director of the general office, until 2002. He served as deputy secretary of the Chongqing Municipal CPC Committee until 2006, and he was appointed vice-president of the China National School of Administration in that same year.
